Deeksha Bhoomi

Deeksha Bhoomi

Deeksha Bhoomi, called “the most peaceful place in Nagpur,” is likely to be at the top of your “places to visit in Nagpur” list. Deeksha Bhoomi is a relatively new monument, having been completed in 2001. It is Asia’s largest stupa, with a wide whitewashed dome. It was celebrated to honor Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s conversion to Buddhism, which drew in 60000 people. Deeksha Bhoomi has become one of Nagpur’s most popular tourist destinations thanks to its bronze Buddha statue and sacred tree.

Ambazari Lake & Garden

Nagpur, as previously mentioned, is the land of many lakes – 11 to be exact – and Ambazari Lake is one of the most well-known tourist attractions in Nagpur, owing to the fact that it is the city’s largest. Its sheer beauty and size beckon you to spend some quiet time in nature. The greenhouse, which spans 25 acres and is adjacent to the lake, is the icing on the cake. Ramtek Fort

Ramtek

Ramtek, a fort-temple on the outskirts of Nagpur, is located on the top of a hill, within a fort. This makes it a comfortable atmosphere that is also perfect for a one-day picnic with family and friends. Lord Rama is the main deity of this temple since it is assumed that he rested here for a short while before embarking on his quest to conquer Lanka. As a result, the fort is rich in mythological legends and historical significance.
